Butterfly Harbor

There are times when I simply don’t want to leave an author’s world, that’s usually when I’ll binge-read a series.  And that’s exactly what I’ve done with Anna J. Stewart’s “Butterfly Harbor” series.

The stories in the “Butterfly Harbor” series flow into each other just as naturally as the ocean waves hit the beach.  Without intending to I’ve spent most of this week lost in a small California coastal town with real people with real troubles who find honest, trustworthy solutions… and perhaps fall in love along the way.

Two things are a constant here the ocean’s beauty and the splendor and magic of the Monarch butterflies who fill the eucalyptus groves with their beauty.  Each plays a part in every story, necessary secondary characters to this world.

Over the next week or so I’ll be posting my reviews of the titles in the “Butterfly Harbor” series.  Frankly, I didn’t want to stop reading long enough to write up the review of each book as I finished it – now that’s not wanting to leave a world for long! ** Well, as often happens in life… life got in the way of doing the fun stuff, like getting those reviews up which will be taking place this week.  *shrugs* Life Happened in February**

If you haven’t discovered this series I would highly recommend it.  Yes, there are those guaranteed happily ever after endings, but each person is unique, has a solid story and an issue to be dealt with.  You’ll become entwined with the people of this small California town and come to need to know more.  I hope you’ll give the series a try and get lost in this amazing world.
