I’ve had such fun with the siblings and friends from the Carson Christmas Games trilogy.  We met Taison in the first story as he was preparing for his own wedding… that never happened.  The woman he loved was wise, she knew that what they had wasn’t the lasting kind of love more like perfect friends, and she wanted more than that so she broke off their engagement.  To say that Taison took that breakup badly would be an understatement.  Two Christmases later and he’s still caught up in what was, making it extremely difficult to see what was happening right in front of him as he and Cassie partnered up for the Christmas games this year.

We’ll watch as two equally stubborn people set about to take the tension off of Taison from his friends, and maybe win the Games themselves this time around.  They each have good reasons for the slight deception of them as a couple – but what happens when that deception is starting to turn into the real thing?

Cowboy’s Christmas Heart is a solid romance with a couple who have to almost lose each other before realizing just what they’re tossing away.  Their journey to everlasting love is a bit rocky at times but always heartwarming.  Running into previous couples, and old family friends is always a treat plus a way to see how life has treated them so far.  I loved being in this world once again, and if you love a well-written romance that is chock-full of emotions, family, and friendships then you’ll want to check out this series for yourself.
