Four Weeks to Forever is the third title in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: The Wedding multi-author series and packs an emotional punch as this couple argue and love their way through some major issues and a looming deadline where both intend to excel in their parts of the wedding of a Hollywood power couple.  But there’s that little thing standing between them, to begin with, Colin’s firing of Corryna’s florist shop in a moment of pique.  The last thing Corryna wants to do is ask for Colin’s help.  But with a blackout threatening the flowers needed for upcoming weddings, she’ll face the devil himself – and come away surprised and a bit curious about his turnaround in attitude toward her.  Their reactions to each other may rival Colin’s industrial ovens for heat, but letting their hearts get involved could lead to some complications neither expected.

First off, I love seeing characters who are of a realistic age for their professions; Colin is in his early forties, and Corryna is in her late thirties.  It takes time to build those careers, and it’s always a delight for me to see a couple beyond their twenties.  I mean, I love a Silver Fox or a Sexy Young Stud… but give me a couple with a bit of life experience, and I’m hooked from the mention of their ages.  Then, there’s the bit of history between this couple that I won’t divulge, but it definitely made me smile as I shook my head understandingly.  Bottomline – I liked this couple from the start, even when they were being prickly with each other, because it felt real, a reaction that I might have, and it’s those types of reactions that I’ll always turn to this author for.

Four Weeks to Forever is full of complications, laughter, tears, steaminess, and a growing love between two people who had to change their opinions of each other.  There are family issues to be dealt with, and some groveling becomes necessary, but at the core, this is a couple that is realistic, and I wanted to see them get beyond those hurdles that they tossed in front of each other.

If you love a sort of enemies-to-lovers story full of all the feelings you could possibly want, a realistic couple that heats up the pages, and discovering that love is always possible when one is willing to work at it… then you’ll want to pick up this one.  I had a blast and completely enjoyed Colin and Corryna’s story.
