The questions all begin with a celebrity’s wedding and a photo of the rising star bridal designer who created the stunning bridal gown.  Eloise Evans is the owner of a bridal business and a talented designer who is fast becoming famous for her creations (and perhaps that waiting list as well)… and except for different hairstyles, Eloise could be Tori’s sister or make that her twin.  Josh Taylor is Tori’s best friend who happens to be a wealthy business owner from Boston who has business in Australia soon and has agreed to check out Eloise (from a distance) to see if she really could be his friend’s unknown twin.  One adorable little pup will change that distance to up close and personal as Josh and Eloise strike sparks plus an immediate attraction between them.  This certainly isn’t what Josh intended when he offered to spy for Tori – but he cannot walk away from a woman who fascinates him on every level.

And so begins From Bridal Designer to Bride, the first story in the How To Make A Wedding duet.  I enjoyed Ellie and Josh, they work well as a couple yet there are many issues they’ll have to work through before a happy ending becomes their reality.  As Josh steps in as a totally temporary fiancé during a huge wedding event that Ellie must attend as she created the bride’s gown, it’s a matter of waiting for the other shoe to fall type of anticipation.  Yes, we’re waiting to see if this plan can counter the completely false rumors and social media mess that an influencer is trying to take Eloise’s business down with… but also to see if Josh tells Ellie his truth because the longer he waits the worse it’s going to get.  I completely understood her reaction to his finally coming clean with her especially knowing her history – his lie, omission, whatever you want to call it almost destroyed her, so yes, I understood.  I so wanted him to grovel for a very long time… but the way From Bridal Designer to Bride ended was perfect for what this couple has gone through.  I completely enjoyed myself here and I’m about to dive into the companion story.
