To protect her baby

she needs to remember who she is.

Gunshot victim Sara Kilpatrick has no memory of her life before she ended up in an Amish farmhouse—or why someone’s trying to kill her.

But when clues lead to her own gravestone, Sara discovers a deadly conspiracy—and a husband and baby she doesn’t remember.

And uncovering the truth could cost her everything…including the family she just found.

This is a romance that includes no swearing, and no sexual content (beyond a few light kisses), there is some violence, after all, this is a Romantic Suspense, but not to the gory level.

Her Forgotten Life is an intense romantic suspense story that easily caught my interest within the first few pages.  It’s also a story that I do not want to go into details about beyond what you’d read in the Cover Description.  Sara’s story unwinds for us through bits and pieces of what she knows now and what she is only now beginning to remember of her past.

When the farmhouse she’s taken shelter at within the Amish community is broken into during the wee, small hours of the morning Sara will instinctively run using skills that she has no idea of how she knows to do these things… that is the only clue to her past that I’m willing to give in a spoiler-free review.

I enjoyed Sara’s journey to discover who she is, and why she’s been targeted, and especially why she cannot remember her past.  Her Forgotten Life is a well-written, fast-paced story full of danger, drama, and learning some uncomfortable truths about herself.  Throughout her story Sara is fighting against an unknown enemy who isn’t afraid to set thugs after her, learning of her past life and how she’s unwittingly hurt those who mean the world to her… and one precious little girl who she would give her life for.  The tension is almost non-stop as Sara, with help from her husband and his friends begins to get answers that often come with deadly intent.  I was captivated by this story and feel that each reader really must discover the clues and events on their own for the full impact of this story to be felt.

I loved it, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good suspense-filled romance, second chances, and finally putting the villain right where they belong – behind bars.

I own a Kindle edition of this title.
