His Stubborn Lover begins the Slade Security Team series with two people who possibly redefine the word “stubborn”.  And watching this couple put aside their differences, fight for their client and not each other, and find their way into a future that works just right for them was a delightful, steamy experience.

Keira and Brock met originally in a unique fashion, you could say he saved her but when the opportunity arose she saved herself – which lead to their working for the same security company.  Brock firmly believed in not messing with a professional relationship by getting romantically involved with a woman he technically works with… or so he tells himself but he’s well aware that his draw to Keira could put them both in danger, and his past taught him that women don’t stay with men who work in dangerous fields.

Five years from that emotionally charged first meeting Keira and Brock will be working the same case in a very intimate way.  Posing as a couple they’ll have to keep the client safe and their hearts well guarded.  Yet, fate will have its day and these stubborn people are about to fall for their forever partner… eventually.

His Stubborn Lover is a fast-paced, action-filled romantic suspense that brings laughter and sexiness to a couple who really belong together if they’d just get out of their own way.  The threat against the royals they are protecting will keep you flipping pages, the smoldering chemistry between Brock and Keira will leap off of the page, and a very satisfying conclusion will set you up to want to dive into the next story in this series, His Secret Child.  I enjoyed myself in this series opener and definitely will be following the series as it continues.  If you love a sexy romance with touches of danger and intrigue, then you’ll want to pick up this one soon.
