Kiss Me Under the Irish Sky begins the Love Always, Ireland series with a romance that has all the emotions you’d ever want to encounter… plus the imagery of the beauty of Ireland in your mind throughout the story.  If this one doesn’t make you want to visit the Emerald Isles, then I don’t know what would.

Rachel is visiting Ireland to begin an internship at a local weaving mill, the same one her late father studied at.  She will eventually follow in her family’s footsteps and begin working in their textile business, but right now, this opportunity to study weaving simply cannot be passed up for educational and personal reasons.  If you want to mention luck well then Rachel has experienced both sides of that particular coin on her first day.  Bad luck in falling into a bog.  Good luck in having Conall find and rescue her… and introducing her, not only to his family but to the beauty of his community.  And perhaps fate has brought two people together this day… but there will be choices to be made before the love that is growing between them can lead to a forever kind of future.

I had such an emotional and visual experience with Rachel and Conall’s story.  Their growing attraction, combined with the vivid descriptions of the places Rachel was seeing for the first time, made this a story that I devoured in one sitting.  It’s obvious that Conall’s family is a bit protective of him, given the gentle warnings that Rachel was given.  And a surprise visit by her cousin rings some alarm bells.  I enjoyed watching this romance play out as Rachel and Conall grow closer, and as decisions for the future must be made.  I’m not going to give away details, just know that you’re in for a love story to warm your heart and a visual experience that will have you longing for a visit to Ireland in the near future.

I enjoyed this story very much and will soon be able to continue the series when the next book releases in May of 2023.
