Title:  Lost and Found Heir
Series:  Dynasties: DNA Dilemma #3

My Rating:  4.5 stars

I try not to have favorite couples within a series, usually, my favorites are in the book I just finished.  Yet, this time Garrett and Jules from Lost and Found Heir, the third title in the Dynasties: DNA Dilemma mini-series just might be my special couple in this series… so far.

For all his money, status, and abilities Garrett has always felt alone in the world, especially since his estranged mother will not say one word about his father.  She’s a proud, single parent focused on her job… and rarely focused on her son.  He’s gone forward to make a name for himself as a no-nonsense businessman who steps in to either save a company or split it up depending on the possibilities.  Some might call him ruthless, he just sees the bottom line, profit or loss… and Garrett has no intention of losing.  Although he may have met his match in Jules.

Jules is a self-made woman, a master mixologist who has become famous for not only her drinks but for her performances at pop-up bars and classy events.  She has little interest in personal relationships beyond her friendships and her chosen family.  Yet her chosen family will be one of the reasons she’ll turn to Garrett… not to mention the intense, off-the-charts sparks between them.

I loved this couple both individually and they are on fire together.  My heart also broke for each of them in far different ways.  If you’ve followed the series (or read the cover blurb) you have a good idea of what Garrett is facing.  What Jules is finally ready to divulge about her past, and her desperate attempts to save her chosen family’s business will take heartache to a higher level.  I don’t want to say much about Jules’ background for that is best discovered firsthand for the emotional impact.  Yet together they fit so perfectly, even if it does take them a bit of time to acknowledge that fact.  Watching them reveal their true selves, and find someone who not only “gets” them but doesn’t want to change them is an emotionally charged journey that I’m so glad I didn’t miss.

I loved every moment spent in Lost and Found Heir and, quite frankly, didn’t want to come to the final page.  For me, it is one of those stories that I’ll be thinking about long after the series concludes with the next story, The Secret Heir Returns.  If you love an emotionally gripping story with strong characters and a few secrets revealed, then you’ll want to pick up this story and series soon.

I own a Kindle edition of this title.
