This twin switch will save her business—

as long as it doesn’t get personal…

Talent agent Kendall Squire desperately needs actor Max Dunn to leave his self-imposed retirement.

As the agent for his identical twin brother, Kendall may have signed up her client to do a commercial without finalizing one tiny detail: his availability.

Max would be the perfect stand-in, but when she goes to his mountaintop cabin to pitch the idea, they end up trapped by a blizzard.

Soon, convincing Max to pose as his twin gives way to a much more intimate negotiation…

Million-Dollar Mix-Up begins The Dunn Brothers series with a funny, charming, and sizzling romance.  Kendall is desperate enough for a client to actually work with her that she might have promised something that she cannot deliver… the more famous of the twin Dunn brothers of childhood television series fame.  Now, adults, one twin has embraced his celebrity acting career, and the other wants nothing to do with the bright lights ever again.  Unfortunately for Kendall, she has to convince Max, the elusive, “don’t bother me” twin to pretend to be Issac for just this one time.  Surely, showing up at his remote mountain home unannounced won’t be a problem at all.  Right?  Wrong.

I had such fun with city-girl, Kendall trying to fit into this small town, and convince Max that he should do this one little commercial.  A blizzard is about to mess up all their plans and keep these two in close quarters to explore this sizzling draw between them.  I loved watching them fight their individual reasons for not falling while all the while tumbling into… something with each other.  Complications arise, because of course they do, and as this new couple navigate what they’ve tried to pull off all sorts of new issues arise.  There is certainly sizzle-worthy chemistry between Max and Kendall, and respect for each other’s position is also born from their close encounter.  I enjoyed watching them work through the differences, come to a compromise, and find a way to make their forever connection work for them.

I’m also curious about Issac’s story in Million-Dollar Consequences which I’ve already picked up and will dive into soon.  I had fun here with a bit of an opposites attract, trying to do the twin switch (unsuccessfully), and a love story that touched emotions having me laughing and annoyed in almost the same moment.  Max and Kendall make a believable couple, with flaws out there for everyone to see.  If you like to be swept away by a romance that pits stubborn against determined, will have you laughing, and a sexy couple that turns the steam up… then you’ll love Million-Dollar Mix-Up.
