Romance and revenge are a deadly combination…
Former Navy SEAL Jake Travers’s mission is simple… Tail Marco Bresi, the man who once kidnapped billionaire Trent Caldwell’s baby, so Trent can find out what he’s up to now. But Jake never expected to find an intoxicatingly beautiful woman alongside the shady character he’s following.
Alexandra Moretti may be smart, gorgeous, and the most captivating woman Jake has ever met. But as far as he’s concerned, she’s the key to getting close to Marco. But as Jake gets closer to her, his attraction becomes an addiction. And soon, he can’t imagine life without her…
After a disastrous arranged engagement, Alexandra is looking to escape Italy, so she allows Marco to bring her to the U.S. as a favor to her father. But the second she meets the ruggedly handsome Jake, she finds herself drawn to him. Something about his smoldering blue eyes and commanding presence makes her feel safe and protected. And she knows he desires her as much as she desires him…
But will their steamy affair come to an end when Alex uncovers Jake’s true motives?

Navy SEAL’s Innocent Italian wraps up the Denver Men series in a satisfying way. It wasn’t my favorite story in the series; I am far more bloodthirsty, revenge mindful than the characters in Jake and Alexandra’s story were… but that’s me. But overall, it brings all the storylines together for a well-thought-out ending that, if not enough justice for me, was very satisfying as well. Also, this is a series that built on the previous stories in many ways; for that reason, I’d gently suggest that you start at the beginning of the series if at all possible.
I adored Alex. She’s definitely an innocent in this world of misplaced revenge, intrigue, and danger. She’s got a backbone and will stand up for herself even when the information she’s given isn’t exactly correct. Jake is simply driven (while sexy as sin). He is blindsided by his attraction to Alex, and it shows. Together they fit perfectly, eventually, since they have some misconceptions and some truths to get out of the way before that happy ending is guaranteed.
I, personally, wanted Marco to pay for what he tried to do. And while I didn’t get that… I did get an ending to that conflict that will do. (Again, I don’t have the talent to write these books, only the ability to read and enjoy them). We’ll get to see all of the couples from this series, once again have some time with the babies, and wrap up storylines with passion and love. And isn’t that the entire point? I had fun here, and would definitely recommend this entire series.
