Revealing Her Best Kept Secret is passionate and intense from the opening scene to the delightfully satisfying epilogue.

It’s been about six years since Lacey last came face to face with Brandon.  Then she’d been an innocent young woman just starting her career, writing as an intern at a prestigious company.  That one night is seared into her memory for both the intensity of the attraction between strangers, and it was also the night her daughter was conceived.  And the next day her world was rocked once more as she was unexplainedly fired, blocked from the career she’d dreamed of all because of one man’s reaction to her.  I understood Lacey’s reasons for the decisions she made, but every decision eventually has consequences good or bad… and she’s about to experience her worst fears.

When we first meet Brandon, he is such a difficult man to like; he really is.  He might be handsome as sin, and rich beyond measure, but he has an attitude that cannot be ignored.  That attitude hides so much, yet that will be slowly, almost painfully revealed to us over time.

Lacey and Brandon’s romance is heart-wrenching.  It’s passionate one moment, and deeply introspective the next.  Laughter vies with angry tears, and two stubborn people must find a way to go beyond their past if they are ever to find a future together with their daughter.  I loved their story, adored little Ruby who steals scenes, and completely enjoyed watching one man face his darkest fears and embrace the happiness that lies just out of reach but could be his if he would only take the risk of loving someone and sharing those fears.  I had such a good time with this story, so if you enjoy a well-written, passionate, emotional romance… then this one is perfect for you.
