Scandalizing the CEO continues the Clashing Birthrights series with an intense, sizzling romance that quickly drew me in.  Tami has been backed into a corner.  She didn’t steal anything but she is being accused and without the proof to prove herself innocent she agrees to another way to pay back the funds… do a bit of spying on her new boss.  Distasteful but doable… maybe.  With fear chasing her actions and a growing attraction, even admiration for Keaton this isn’t as easy as it sounded compared to the alternative.

I liked Tami so much.  She’s been put in a difficult spot yet she doesn’t back down from the challenges she faces at this preview of the company’s team building program which she and Keaton are in the process of checking out before the rest of the team arrives.  She might do a challenge afraid, but she still does it and often surprises even herself along the way.

I adored Keaton.  He may come off as cold and professional, but his reactions to Tami are far from indifferent.  The sizzling chemistry between them is obvious from the beginning, but it’s the emotions that are starting to grow from this imposed closeness of the team building program that begins to show their true feelings for each other.  I loved that Tami could feel so free with Keaton and that he let down his guard around a woman he’s come to not only desire but to trust.

Too bad there is an oily, vile villain in the background ready to pull strings to get his own goals achieved.

Scandalizing the CEO was an enjoyable, passionate romance with likable people… well, once they let their guards down that is.
