Christmastime isn’t always the heartfelt, happy, family holidays that we all wish they could be.  Movies, television, and even books often paint a beautiful picture that is far from reality for so many people.  What I loved most about Snowed In with the Billionaire was this alternate reality being not only shown but celebrated in a way that paints the picture but with a tone and message that we all have choices.  Sometimes those choices are to let people in – and other times, it’s to simply let them go.

Brea is returning home for Christmas Eve, home to a family that does not value her personally in any fashion at all.  With a bully of a mother, it’s hard to be good enough for absolutely anything in her eyes.  Brea’s sister is her only ally.  Yet, after her engagement was ended life got even more difficult for Brea… returning home this Christmas is a duty, and a chance but before she can even face those angry ghosts an unexpected blizzard will have her stranded with a most unlikely man and change her life forever.

George is a billionaire who doesn’t need anything beyond short, unimportant relationships, his business, and his goals.  He might be tabloid fodder, but there is a man behind those outrageous stories… a man who could have been killed this Christmas Eve.  When he seeks the quiet and remoteness of his getaway cabin he never expected a beautiful, frozen stranger on his doorstep.  Or that she would challenge everything he thought and believed about not only himself but his past as well.  George is about to get an unexpected gift this Christmas when he meets Brea and nothing will ever be the same for this couple again.

Snowed In with the Billionaire touched emotions, is definitely steamy, and gives the best message of all… we all are perfect for someone, and we all are good enough (even when we have to be convinced to see that for ourselves).  I enjoyed this story very much – I almost wish that bodyguards “Jim and John” would get their own story so that we’d get even more glimpses of Brea and George again.
