Spencer is the third title in the SEAL Team Ten series, and the mystery, the danger, and the relationships are only getting deeper and more intriguing as we continue.  While each story on its own could be considered standalone, I would really strongly suggest reading this series in order (if at all possible) for the mystery in the background builds with intrigue and information in each book.

Toni is in need of a bodyguard as she’s been receiving threats around her work in providing e-readers to children in various, war-torn, volatile spots around the world.  She also happens to be the daughter of one of the men the team suspects of being involved in their teammate’s murder.  Spencer has the assignment of getting in and discovering where her father is, and what her connection to this operation is.  He never expected her to matter more than any other assignment, he certainly never thought she’d turn out to be his “one” of a lifetime.  Now comes the challenge of keeping her safe while discovering who is the power behind the need to wipe Team Ten off the map by any means possible.

Spencer is well-written, full of suspense, and more questions that need answers.  The intensity of the background story is growing and will come to a head in Kyle’s story.  If you love a Romantic Suspense that will keep you flipping pages, with intriguing characters, vile villains, and a couple that you’ll be cheering on to their happy ending then Spencer (and this entire series) is perfect for you.
