Tempt Me Please, Cowboy is the second title in the multi-author 85th Copper Mountain Rodeo series, which also celebrates Tule Publishing’s 10-year anniversary.  And ten years that I’ve loved one particular fictional town over all others… Marietta, Montana.

I loved absolutely everything about Tempt Me Please, Cowboy.  Sydney and Jackson light up the pages with their steamy chemistry, but this isn’t a quick holiday trip back home for Sydney this time.  She’s being somewhat forced by circumstances beyond her control to take some accumulated time off from her job and hang out in Marietta for the season.  Four long months away from her high-power, high-stress job, and she has no clue how to actually slow down and take it day to day in a much less intense environment.  But it does mean that she’ll have more time with Jackson… or so she thought.

Jackson has known for some years now that Sydney is it for him.  He also knows she’s as nervous as a newborn foal about long-term, serious forever-type relationships.  So Jackson has been playing a long game.  He knows if he pushes too hard, she’ll disappear from his life like fading smoke.  But four months?  A lot can change in that amount of time, and he’s going to go for his dream of Sydney at his side forever.  With his plan in mind, he’s about to win his lady over to the idea of a forever love.  It’s a risky move, but at this point, it’s either take the risk or walk away… and he cannot walk away from this woman.

Jackson’s plan is ingenious, really.  We’ll get to discover more about why Sydney feels the way she does about long-term relationships… and Sydney gets to have some hard truths delivered with a loving hand.  Their story is full of steamy passion that simmers under the surface as two very stubborn people come to a turning point in their lives.  I won’t give away details, but I loved watching this couple find their happiness together.  Through anger, frustration, hurt, and truths, Jackson and Sydney will find their way to that forever life. It’s just going to take some time, some love, and a lot of patience on Jackson’s part.

If you love a well-written, heart-thumping romance that will leave you laughing, smiling, satisfied, and wishing for more, then you’d love this story.  We’ll get to meet up with some familiar faces as well, and that’s always a bonus for me.
