Title:  The One from the Wedding
Series:  Destination Wedding #2
Author:  Katherine Garbera
Genre:  Contemporary Romance

My Rating:  4.5 stars

The One from the Wedding is the second title in the Destination Wedding series and it definitely delivered on the sizzling chemistry, intricate plotline, and believable characters that I’ve come to expect from this author.

Danni and Leo may go about their professional businesses in far different ways but in their personal attraction to each other, they are on fire…. might not want to be, but it’s there in every engagement, each conversation, and definitely in their personal relationship.  Two talented, gifted, and stubborn people are about to have their worlds turned upside down when the sparks between them ignite beyond what they expected.

I found Leo and Danni such contradictions to each other in a fascinating way.  Leo is all about the expensive, elegantly understated message his designs created.  Danni is about the intricate details and the more natural (nature-driven) approach to her bold designs.  They are in competition for a very lucrative business deal, one that Leo feels is automatically his contract without a doubt, one that would really launch Danni’s work to another level.  Without giving away any spoilers, I love the final resolution for their competitive natures.

The scandals in the Bisset family continue to be the background story with even more developments revealed.  The banter, sizzling chemistry, and basically good people feel between Danni and Leo had me in love with this couple early on.  And, of course, I need to know what the eventual fallout from those secrets will be.  I’m having such a blast with this series.

I own a Kindle edition of this title.
