The Prince and The Wedding Planner begins The Bartolini Legacy with a heartfelt romance that has all the emotions, feel-good moments, and a Royal falling for a commoner that any romance reader could wish for.

Bianca and her siblings are facing their parents’ deaths with startling revelations from their mother’s journal – one of her children is the result of an affair, but which one and who is the father are questions left unanswered.  Of course, a DNA test is now necessary but while that is one huge bombshell there is another as their father’s will states that only the sibling that grows their individual business the most profit-wise will inherit the family estate.  Talk about being hit with hard facts over and over.  All of the siblings are close and the competition between them is unwanted but also now necessary.  And waiting for the DNA test results is going to be beyond emotional.

Bianca is a wedding planner, and this particular wedding will bring more than just the happy couple together – it’s going to bring a man who would be king into her life, and then it all gets complicated.

Prince Leo must marry within a certain timeframe in order to become king.  His mother has a list of suitable ladies who would be politically advantageous to their country.  Leo wants to marry for love like his sister is… if she and their mother can ever agree on the type of wedding Giselle will be having.

There is an instant attraction to Bianca, the wedding planner for a friend’s wedding.  Not only is she lovely but she could also help his sister plan her own wedding or at least help against his mother’s interference.  Leo will ask Bianca to take on that job which she agrees to in exchange for some publicity to help her own business.

Now Bianca is between a rock and a hard place… and so is Leo.  Both are falling in love yet both have issues surrounding them that will make being together for life a hard-fought battle.  Bianca’s heritage, her non-royal blood, her standing up to the Queen on Giselle’s behalf haven’t won Leo’s mother’s best wishes.  Leo must marry and he wants Bianca as his bride but he’s going to have to fight hard and fast to make that happen.

I enjoyed The Prince and The Wedding Planner very much.  Watching two unlikely people fall in love against all odds and find their happy ending was an emotional journey.  There are complications in this love story yet watching them each overcome them, and standing up for what they, and they alone, truly want was a true delight.  I had fun here, and since I’ve already purchased the remainder of the series I’m going to be doing some binge-reading soon.

I own a Kindle edition of The Prince and The Wedding Planner.
