Tuscan Summer with the Billionaire begins the A Billion-Dollar Family series with a highly emotional romance that has a touch of enemies to lovers but mostly two wounded souls, in far different ways, finding their way to a future… together.

When her family’s vineyard is sold Marcia did not take the news well, at all.  She had her own plans and they certainly did not include babysitting the new owner who hasn’t the slightest clue how to do anything concerning wine.  So, she makes this interloper a deal, one that looks like an easy win for her… until her heart gets involved and plans fly out the window.

I loved this couple from the start.  Both are facing down their past hurts and humiliations with little success.  Trace is such a strong man who has taken some hard hits.  Watching him open himself up to learning the business, interacting with Marcia and her father, as well as beginning to shed that shell he’s been hiding behind was an emotional journey that touched my heart and kept me flipping pages.  Marcia’s pain is different but no less devastating for her and it will take a special man to get her to open her heart once again.

This couple grows throughout their story, begins to see life circumstances differently, and holds onto hope that here is the right person right in front of them.  Love means taking a few risks in trust, and belief that the same feelings are returned.  I enjoyed their romance filled with passion, sadness, hope, and seeing a situation through another’s eyes.  The journey certainly isn’t going to be easy – but the joy at the ending makes it all worthwhile.

I had a wonderful time in this world and will be back for more stories soon.
