Under a Christmas Moon begins the Eclipse Ridge Ranch series with a romance that will certainly touch emotions at any time of the year.

Normally, my reviews wouldn’t be quite this short, yet I feel that there are aspects of Jake’s and Liberty’s romance and their lives that really should be read firsthand.

I enjoyed Under a Christmas Moon which had me in snort-giggles almost as often as in near tears.  That’s a good combination if you can make me laugh and get so emotionally attached that some events will get me misty-eyed determined to not let tears fall.  Jake’s stubbornness is both endearing and moving.  I could understand his reasons why, that’s probably the only reason that I didn’t become annoyed at his determination to face this on his own.  Liberty was exactly what Jake needed in his life right now.  And she’s probably equally stubborn in her own ways as well so they turned into a good match.

I don’t think I can really say much more without letting a spoiler slip through.  It’s a really good set-up for the rest of the series to come, a couple that belongs together even if that takes a while and circumstances to change for them both.  I can read a Christmas romance any time of the year, so don’t let the timing put you off from starting the Eclipse Ridge Ranch series with Under a Christmas Moon.  I had a good time here, and looking forward to returning (I might actually have Her Wyoming Hero on my e-reader right now).

I own a Kindle edition of this title.

Available in paperback or for your favorite e-reader, mine is the Kindle.
